If you have a fitbit zip or flex you are out of luck as those only count steps.
Walking up a steep hill counts a standard flight of stairs works etc.
Your fitbit is an altimeter so things like barimetric pressure and wind can impact its count.
If i can do 300 pretty easily in addition to cruise activities then surely many athletic types can make 700 floors.
If you have a fitbit charge or one it should be able to count stairs.
