Alternate between applying the cleaning liquid and blotting it up with the dry towel until the stain disappears.
Repeat this using a fresh part of the towel to blot the stain.
Pour a tablespoon of isopropyl alcohol onto the stain and work it in.
Make sure to alternate between the two rugs until the stain is out of sight.
This step should absorb most of the remaining hair dye.
This dry cloth should soak up some of the dye loosened by the cleaning mixture.
